Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-2 located on moon surface: ISRO chief K Sivan.

New Delhi: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K. Sivan on Sunday announced that the space agency has find the location of Vikram Lander on moon surface.

“We’ve found the location of Vikram Lander on lunar surface & orbiter has clicked a thermal image of Lander. But there is no communication yet. We are trying to have contact. It will be communicated soon”, the ISRO chief said

.

The Isro chief said the orbiter has clicked a thermal image of the Vikram Lander. Sivan said thought the space agency has located the lander, but there is no communication yet. The ISRO is trying to establish a contact with the lander and it will be communicated soon.

“It must have been a hard-landing. We do not know if the Vikram module was damaged during the landing on the Lunar surface,” the ISRO chairman further added.
